Instead of merely reading about worship, I invite you to encounter the God who is worthy of worship.
Throughout Scripture, whenever God desired to reveal Himself, renew His covenant with His people, or prepare them for a new season, He called them to an altar. The altar was a place of surrender, consecration, thanksgiving, sacrifice, and divine encounter.
Through Jesus Christ, we no longer approach a physical altar to offer sacrifices. We have become living sacrifices, called to minister to the Lord with our whole lives. Yet God's desire has never changed. He is still seeking worshipers who will honor His presence and align with His purposes.
These thirty devotionals are designed to help you rediscover God's heart for praise and worship. Each day contains a Scripture, a brief devotional thought, a practical application, and a prayer. My prayer is that over these thirty days your love for God's presence will deepen and that He will awaken in you a desire to become a living altar and perhaps even establish an Altar of Worship in your own community.
