ALTARS OF WORSHIP 

​Altars of Worship (AOW) maintains a network of ongoing monthly praise and worship gatherings. These monthly gatherings function as our first fruits offering of worship to the Lord as the corporate Body of Christ. You are invited to establish a monthly AOW gathering through our training program,

ONE VOICE

Twice a year, in the Spring and Fall, Altars of Worship hosts One Voice, a day of unified praise and worship with all participating Altars of Worship listed with us. On this day, the greater Body of Christ is invited to participate in a gathering at their location or participate by livestream, to minister to the Lord and magnify His name.

VISION/MISSION

The vision and mission God gave was for us to encourage the Body of Christ to be in one accord for one purpose - to minister to the Lord with praise and worship at His appointed times. We don't have to all be in one place at the same time, but unified in spirit. We believe that if we can unify on magnifying the Lord, God will respond with awakening, revival, and harvest.

​We seek to work with churches and other Christ-centered organizations. All Christian denominations and worship styles are welcome to start an AOW.  We love, honor, and value the Body of Christ. It is through the unity of the Body of Christ working together and their passion for God's manifest presence that transformation can come. Jesus' prayer is that we might be one so the world would know the Father sent him (John 17:21-23). Worshipping our Lord is one thing we can all agree on and do together that blesses our Lord and is a witness to the world.

Altars of Worship and One Voice is our unified offering of one voice, in one accord, for one purpose—to bless the Lord and magnify His name.

UNITY THROUGH PRAISE & WORSHIP

​We may not agree on every doctrine, but we can all agree that the Lord is worthy of our praise. It would please the Lord to see the Body of Christ come together to give Him honor and glory as One Voice.

Ministering to the Lord is our first calling as priests in His Kingdom. 1 Peter 2:9  "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."

 

​Praise and worship bring people together. As we faithfully minister to the Lord as One Voice, the Holy Spirit knits our hearts together and strengthens the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Our ultimate goal is to join together in fulfilling Jesus’ prayer from John 17:20–23, that we would be one, so the world would know the Father sent Him.

 

​​​​AOW COORDINATORS

Our founder, Jane Lampkin of Kingdom Sound, and her assistant, June Schuldt of Incense Rising, are located in the Capital Region of New York State and have both served in worship and prayer for decades in various capacities. The Lord has spoken to both of them about the importance of unified worship. In January 2025, Altars of Worship was established to gather worshippers to magnify the Lord. They don't consider themselves as leaders because ministering to the Lord with unified praise and worship is a priestly duty of all believers. They simply put out the invitation, steward God's request, coordinate the initiative, and promote unity through praise and worship.
